Privacy

This static website has no user accounts, active comment form, newsletter, first-party analytics, or advertising tracking. The website itself does not set optional first-party cookies. Embedded services provided by YouTube and Spotify may, however, use cookies or similar technologies after their players are activated, as explained below.

Hosting and security

The site is delivered through Cloudflare. When you visit it, Cloudflare and the hosting infrastructure may process technical access and security data, including IP address, request URL, date and time, browser/header data, referrer, and security events. This is used to deliver the website, provide HTTPS, caching, DDoS protection, and abuse prevention. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cloudflare may process data in the EU and the United States. Cloudflare provides a data processing agreement and transfer safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. More information: Cloudflare GDPR.

Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies if required for protection or access checks.

Embedded YouTube and Spotify players

The interactive diner contains embedded media players from YouTube/Google and Spotify. These players are not loaded when the page first opens. A direct connection to the relevant provider is established when you deliberately select a YouTube video or the Spotify playlist inside the interactive diner.

When a player is loaded, the provider may receive technical and personal data such as your IP address, date and time of access, referrer information, browser and device information, and information about your interaction with the player. The provider may also store or read cookies and similar technologies on your device. If you are signed in to the relevant provider, the provider may associate your use of the player with your account.

YouTube and Spotify may process data outside the European Union, including in the United States. The scope, purposes, legal bases, retention periods, and available privacy controls are determined by the respective provider. If you do not want data to be transmitted to YouTube/Google or Spotify, do not activate the corresponding media hotspot. Closing a player removes it from the page and stops further playback, but it cannot delete data or cookies that the provider may already have processed or stored.

Weather data from Open-Meteo

The website retrieves current coastal weather data for the interactive weather scene from the Open-Meteo API. When this request is made, Open-Meteo may receive your IP address and standard technical request information. The purpose is to provide the current weather display. The legal basis for this request is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on the legitimate interest in providing the interactive weather feature. Contact and your rights

If you contact the operator by email, your message and contact details are processed only to answer your request. Data is deleted when no longer needed, unless legal retention duties apply.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to complain to a competent data protection authority. This website does not use automated decision-making or profiling.
